Among the 48 projects that can be financed throughout the region, through the call for the selection of interventions for the enhancement and use of cultural heritage belonging to ecclesiastical bodies organized by the Puglia Region, there is also the one presented by the Basilica Santuario di San Michele Arcangelo in Monte Sant’Angelo, called “The Sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo: new paths for the pilgrim between faith and history”.
The intervention, aimed at the enhancement and use of the UNESCO site, will strengthen and expand the cultural offer of the Basilica and the Tecum Museums.
Drawn up by the Technical Studio 80 of Monte Sant’Angelo, the project aims to enhance the offer of cultural services through the redevelopment of some rooms, the removal of architectural barriers, the adaptation of technological systems and interactive multimedia supplies, the creation of laboratory services , creation of service structures for the reception and use of goods intended for local communities and the numerous visitors from all over the world.
The enhancement process of the Gargano and in particular of Monte Sant’Angelo is enriched with another piece.
